We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured a "ceramic processing machine." We were processing with woodworking machinery, but there were size constraints for the ceramics, and we needed a machine that could handle larger items, so we opted for a machining machine. Since we were dealing with raw ceramics, the cutting chips were very fine, like sand, necessitating dust prevention measures. We did not require the rigidity of a major machine tool manufacturer, but needed a machine that could process raw ceramics at a low cost. For dust prevention, we installed bellows on the LM guides and ball screws, creating a structure that makes it difficult for cutting powder to enter, and also allowing for the replacement of screws and guides.
